This is the project I’m working on now. Recently we are building the prototype of ATOMS chip to grab a chief understand of how the chip works and what aspects it could be optimized.
Stage 1 (Prototype Building):
First thing need to do is building a gradient magnetic field environment to allow testing the reliability of magnetic field sensor. To build the field setting in x, y and z directions, we decided to use a saddle coil for y and z directions and apply a Helmholtz coil to generate a gradient field in x direction. And to decide the turns of coils and current going through them, COMSOL Multiphysics software is used to simulate the coils setting.
